How PikolMaester works

Everything you need to book a court, join a game or bring your club onto the platform.

Getting started

You can browse courts, open plays and clubs without an account. You need an account to book, join a game or save a club.

  1. Create your account

Go to Sign in and register with your email address. You will be signed in straight away.

  2. Fill in your profile

Add your name, mobile number and skill level on Edit Profile. Hosts use these to organise balanced games, and clubs use your number if they need to reach you about a booking.

  3. Find somewhere to play

Browse Courts to book a court to yourself, Open Plays to join a game that already has players, or What's Happening to see everything on today at a glance.

Court or open play?

Book a court

When you have your own group and want the court to yourselves.

Join an open play

When you want to turn up alone or in a pair and play with whoever is there.

Booking a court

  1. Pick a club

On the Courts page, filter by city or search by name. Switch to Map view to see what is near you. Each card shows the hourly rate and whether the club is open right now.

  2. Choose your date and slots

Pick a day from the strip at the top, then tap the time slots you want. Adjacent slots join into one booking. You can book up to 60 days ahead, for between 3,600 hours and 14,400 hours at a time.

Greyed-out slots are already taken or blocked by the club. Prices can change by time of day, so an evening slot may cost more than a morning one.

  3. Confirm and pay

Review your slots on the checkout page, add the number of players and any note for the club, then choose how to pay. You need to be signed in to complete a booking.

  4. Get your confirmation

You will get a booking reference and a QR code by email, and the booking appears under Upcoming in My Jam. Some clubs review bookings before confirming, so yours may show as Pending for a short while.

Joining an open play

An open play is a session someone else has organised. You pay per player rather than for the whole court, and you play with whoever else has joined.

  1. Find a session that fits

Filter Open Plays by day, city or skill level. Each card shows the fee per player, the host, and how many places are left.

  2. Check the level

Sessions are labelled Beginner, Intermediate, Advanced or All Levels. Pick one that matches you — turning up to the wrong level makes for a poor game on both sides.

  3. Join

Press Join and pay the fee if there is one. Free sessions confirm immediately. If the session is full you can join the waitlist instead, and you move up automatically when somebody drops out.

  4. Bring guests

Where the host allows it you can add guests as you join. Each guest takes a place and is charged the same fee.

Paying

Prices are shown in PHP. This site currently accepts:

  • QR PhPaid online on PayMongo's secure page, confirmed automatically. How it works.
  • MayaPaid online on PayMongo's secure page, confirmed automatically. How it works.
If a payment does not go through

Nothing is charged and your slots are released. Confirmation can take a few seconds, so if you have just paid, give the page a moment and press Check again before trying a second time.

Checking in

Every booking and confirmed session place comes with a QR code. Open My Jam, find the booking under Upcoming and press QR.

Show it at the front desk and the club scans it to check you in. If you cannot open the code, your booking reference works just as well — staff can look it up by hand.

Self check-in at the venue

Some clubs have a self check-in QR posted at the venue. Their club page says "Self check-in available". Scan it with your phone camera, sign in, and tap Check in next to your court or open play. You get a big green "You're checked in" screen to show the desk.

  • Check-in opens 2 hours before your start.
  • It works if you paid online at checkout (through PayMongo) or with JamCredits, or the open play is free. If you are paying at the venue, or something is still due, check in at the front desk. A bank transfer the club confirms also goes through the front desk.
  • At these clubs you check yourself in by scanning the club's QR, not your own code. The front desk can still check you in.
  • Some clubs also ask for your location, to confirm you are at the venue. It is used once and not saved. If you say no, check in at the front desk.

Changes and cancellations

Cancel a booking or leave an open play from My Jam, up to the club's cut-off shown on the booking.

How refunds work

When you can cancel, where your money goes back to, changing a time, and what happens if the club cancels.

Passing on a spot (Pasalo)

Can no longer make a court booking or open play spot you have already paid for? Pasalo lets you pass it on to someone else at the exact price you paid — no markup — instead of losing it to a cancellation.

  1. List your spot

On the booking or session in My Jam, press List for Pasalo. This only appears once it is confirmed and fully paid, and stops appearing once the slot is too close to start.

  2. Share the link

A shareable link appears once listed. Send it to whoever you want to take the spot — anyone with the link can view it, but needs to sign in to claim it.

  3. Get refunded automatically

The moment someone claims it and their payment clears, the booking or spot moves to their name and you are refunded the full amount as JamCredits. You do not need to do anything else.

What can be listed

Only a confirmed, fully paid booking or open play spot that was paid entirely in real money can be listed — if any part of it was covered by JamCredits, it is not eligible. You can remove your own listing at any time before somebody claims it, and an unclaimed listing simply expires and stays yours if nobody does.

Playing in a tournament

Clubs and hosts run tournaments at their venues. Find them on Tournaments. Each event has one or more divisions, such as Men's Doubles or Open Singles, and you enter a division as a team.

Some events are private: they are not listed anywhere, and their page asks for an access code. Open the link the organiser sent you (it has the code in it), or type the code on the event page; your browser remembers it for 30 days. Once your team is entered, or you are the partner invited, you never need it.

Entering

  1. Pick your division

The event page lists each division with who can enter, the format, the entry fee per team and the spots left. Rating limits are checked against the rating on your profile, men's, women's and mixed divisions against the gender on your profile, and age limits against the date of birth on your profile (your age on the event's first day), so keep your profile up to date before you enter. Your date of birth is optional and private: only you and site admins see it, and organisers only see that your age was checked.

  2. Enter your team

Sign in and press Register your team. Whoever enters is the team captain. Choose the division, give your team a name and add your mobile number. For doubles, add your partner's name and email too. You can only be on one team in each division.

  3. Pay for the team

The captain pays the whole team's entry fee, online or with JamCredits. Your place is held for 30 minutes while you pay, and an unpaid entry is let go after that. Free divisions confirm straight away.

  4. Your partner accepts

We email your partner an invite with a link to accept or decline. If they already have an account, the invite also waits for them in My Jam. You don't have to wait for them to pay, and if they haven't answered a day before registration closes, we remind you.

Invited by someone else?

Open the link in the invite email, or sign in and go to My Jam, Tournaments, and press Accept or Decline. Your captain pays for the team, so there is nothing for you to pay.

Partner said no, or can't make it?

The captain can change partner from My Jam until the organiser locks the draw. After that, ask the organiser.

Division full? Join the waitlist

Pick the full division and press Join the waitlist. You enter the team the same way, and your partner gets the usual invite, but nothing is paid yet. My Jam shows your number in line, and you can leave the waitlist there at any time.

When a place opens up, the first team in line moves in and we tell the captain straight away, in the app and by email. A free division confirms you there and then. For a paid one, if your JamCredits cover the entry fee we take it from them and you are in; otherwise you have 2 hours to pay from My Jam, or the place goes to the next team.

The waitlist closes when the organiser locks the draw. If no place came up by then, we tell you, and you were never charged.

Some events also limit the number of teams across all their divisions. Once that limit is reached, the entry form says the tournament is full, even if your division still has places of its own, and the waitlist is for the next place anywhere in the event.

Early-bird prices and discount codes

A division can have an early-bird price, shown as "₱X until <date>, then ₱Y". Enter on or before that day and you pay the early-bird price, even if your payment goes through after it. From the next day, new entries pay the normal fee.

Got a discount code from the organiser? Type it in the entry form and we show the new price before you pay. A code that covers the whole fee makes your entry free, with nothing to pay. Your confirmation email and My Jam show what you paid and what came off. On a waitlist, the code is used only when a place opens for you; if its uses have all gone by then, the place is yours at the price without it.

Withdrawing and refunds

The captain can withdraw the team from My Jam until the organiser locks the draw. Whether you get the entry fee back depends on the organiser's cut-off, shown as "Refund if you withdraw" on the event page.

Before the cut-off

You get the entry fee back. Usually that is as JamCredits, straight away. Some organisers send it back to the card or e-wallet you paid with instead. QR Ph payments always come back as JamCredits.

After the cut-off, or no cut-off set

You can still withdraw to free the place, but there is no refund.

If the organiser cancels

If the event or your division is cancelled, every team is refunded in full, whatever the cut-off, and we email you.

Your matches and results

Everything about your entry is in My Jam, under Tournaments: your payment, your partner, and once the draw is made, your matches with the round, your opponents, and the court and time when the organiser sets them. Results and your final placing show there as you play.

  • We email every team when the draw is made, with your first match.
  • After each match we send you the result, and a note if the organiser later corrects it. When your next opponent is known, you get a "your next match" message with the round, the court and the time.
  • If the organiser changes the days, times or courts of the event, or your division's name or format, we email you and leave a notice in the app saying exactly what changed.
  • When the organiser publishes the order of play, each of your matches gets a court and a start time. They show on the Matches tab, in My Jam and on the venue's score board, and your team gets one email and notice listing them. If a match moves later, we tell you again with the old and the new court and time.
  • The event page has the full picture: Matches, Brackets and Standings. While the event is on, it updates by itself every 30 seconds.
  • If a team drops out after the draw, the matches they had left are walkovers: you win without playing and, in a knockout draw, go straight through. A walkover counts as a win and a loss only, with no score, and we tell you about it and your next match.
  • Some divisions are played in pools, then a playoff. The draw email tells you your pool, and you play everyone in it. Each pool has its own table (wins first, then the result between teams level on wins, then games and points difference). When every pool is finished, the organiser makes the playoff: the top teams of each pool go into a knockout, and we tell you whether you are through and who you play first. My Jam shows your pool and where you stand.
  • In a double elimination division you are out after your second loss, not your first. Lose once and you drop into the losers bracket and play on; the result email tells you where. The two bracket winners meet in the Grand Final, and if the team from the losers bracket wins it, a reset match decides the title. My Jam shows which bracket you are in.
  • On the day, check your team in when you arrive: at the desk, or with the venue's self check-in QR if it has one (your captain or partner taps Check in on their phone, from two hours before your first match, when the entry was paid online). My Jam shows "Checked in today" once you are in.
  • When your match is called to a court, both teams get a notice and an email, and the score board shows "Now calling" with your court. Please go straight there. If the organiser takes a call back, you get a note and an email asking you to wait, and another notice and email when your match is really called. If a team is not there when its match is called, the organiser can wait or record a no-show, which gives the match to the other team.
  • You can send your match's final score yourself. Once it is played, the captain or partner of either team opens the match from My Jam or the Matches tab, enters the points of each game and presses Send score. A score can be sent once the match has been called or started, or its time on the schedule has come (a match from an earlier day that never got its result can still be sent while the event is on), and only when the other team has an account linked to the event (for a walk-in team, the organiser enters the result). The other team gets a notice and an email and can confirm it or dispute it. If they do neither within 15 minutes, the score counts. Until then the score board and printed sheets show it as waiting for confirmation, and it does not count in the standings. A disputed score goes to the organiser, whose decision is final, and the organiser can always enter or correct a score. Point-by-point live scoring is done by the organiser. If the organiser has turned player scores off for an event, there is no Send score: tell the organiser or the desk your result.
  • In a round robin or pool table, teams are ranked by wins, then by the result between the teams level on wins (head-to-head), then games won minus lost, then points won minus lost. Where head-to-head decided a place, the team is marked H2H. Games % and Points % show the share of games and points each team won. The event page, the score board and the printed tables all show the same.
  • Your public player profile has a Tournaments section with verified results: the events you played, where your team finished (Champion, Runner-up, Third place, the round you went out in, or Pool stage), and your match wins and losses from the scores recorded at each event. Walkovers are listed apart, because no match was played. It covers only public events that are on or finished, and never shows your date of birth, contact details or payments. The wins and losses you enter yourself stay on your player card.
  • Share an event by sending its page link. In Messenger, Facebook, Viber or X the preview shows a picture made for that event: its name, dates, venue, entry fee, and whether entries are open, it is live, finished or cancelled. Search engines can show the event's dates and venue too. Only public events are shared this way, never a draft or a password-protected one.
  • Many organisers also pin the bracket, the pool tables and the order of play up on paper at the venue, and hand a score sheet to each court. A sheet shows what was published when it was printed; if a time has moved since, the event page, My Jam and the score board have the latest.

The event page

At the top of an event's page you see its dates, venue, status, the lowest entry fee today (an early-bird price while it lasts) and how many teams have entered. Share sends the page's link, TV view opens the score board, and Winners appears once anyone is placed. Under it, Overview has the event in numbers (teams, divisions, courts, days) and an Event details box, where Add to calendar saves the days of play to your phone or Google Calendar.

The page has tabs: Overview, Teams, Matches, Bracket, Standings and Winners. Pick a division with its buttons at the top of a tab. In Teams and Standings, type your name or your team's to find it fast. Each round shows how many of its matches are done and how many games a match is (Bo3 means best of 3). Winners lists the top four of every division with both players' names; fourth place shows once it is decided. In a knockout, Standings also shows each team's seed, its wins and losses, and whether it is still in (Active) or out. A link to a tab opens that tab, so you can send someone straight to the Winners.

The score board at the venue

Many venues put a live score board on a TV during the event. It shows the match on every court with the score point by point as the organiser scores it, what is up next, the latest results, the standings and the bracket. It shows team and player names only, never contact details.

The board names what it is showing at the top, with a dot for each screen it takes turns with, and has a small QR code in its corner. Point your phone camera at it to open the event page, with live scores, your next match and the schedule, standings and brackets: no app needed. Between matches it also shows the latest results a page at a time and, once a division is finished, its official winners from first to fourth.

Once your team is in, it has its own check-in QR: in My Jam under the entry (Team check-in QR), and in your "you're in" email. On the day, show it at the tournament desk and they scan your team in, or read them the 8-character code under it. It is your team's own, so keep it to yourselves.

Seen an event's poster on Facebook? Scan its QR with your phone camera to open the event page and register.

Some events have sponsors. Their logos show under "Sponsored by" on the event page, along the bottom of the score board and on the printed sheets. Tap a logo on the event page to open the website of the sponsor in a new tab.

Common questions

Do I need an account to book?

Yes. Bookings are tied to an account so you can find your QR code, cancel, and see your history.

Can I book more than one court at once?

Yes. Select slots on each court before going to checkout and they are paid for together as one booking.

I did not get my confirmation email

Check your spam folder first. Your booking and QR code are always in My Jam regardless, so you can still check in without the email.

What does the blue checkmark on a club mean?

The club is verified: our team has confirmed it is a real venue and its details are accurate. It is not a rating, and clubs cannot switch it on themselves.

How do I change my email or password?

Your name, mobile, city and rating are on Edit Profile. To change the email address on the account or reset a password, get in touch and we will sort it out.

Still stuck?

Tell us what happened and we will help you sort it.
