How refunds work
Plans change. Here is when you can cancel, where your money goes back to, and what happens if a payment goes wrong.
Words you'll see
A quick key to the terms used on this page and around the site.
- JamCredits
- Money in your wallet on this site, shown in My Jam. ₱1 of JamCredits is worth ₱1. Refunds land here instantly, and you can spend them on any court or open play at any club.
- Cancellation window
- How long before the start you can still cancel for a refund. Each club sets its own; the usual is 24 hours. Your booking shows the exact deadline.
- Payment hold
- While you pay, your slot is kept for you for 30 minutes so nobody else can take it. Other players see it as "Held until paid".
- No cancellation, no refund
- A setting some clubs choose. Their bookings say so before you pay, and a paid booking there cannot be cancelled or refunded.
- Refund owed
- A refund that a person has to send by hand — the club for money paid at the venue, or us for a guest booking. It stays on record until it is marked sent.
- Withdrawal cut-off
- The last day a tournament team can withdraw and get its entry fee back. Each organiser sets their own, shown on the event page as "Refund if you withdraw".
When you can cancel
- Once you are checked in, or marked as a no-show, a booking can no longer be refunded.
- Open plays work the same way: press Leave, and your place goes to the next person on the waitlist.
- There is no reschedule: to change a time, cancel before the cut-off and book the new slot.
- Tournament entries follow the organiser's own withdrawal cut-off, not this one, and the captain can only withdraw until the draw is locked. Tournament withdrawals and refunds.
- Missed the cut-off? Pass your spot on with Pasalo instead — you get your money back when someone claims it.
Where does my money go back to?
It depends on how you paid. Each part of a payment goes back the way it came in.
QR Ph payments cannot be reversed back to your bank or e-wallet — that is a limit of the QR Ph network, not a choice we make. JamCredits mean you have the money back straight away. Would you rather have it in your bank? Email support.pikolmaester@gmail.com before you cancel and we will look at sending it to you directly.
How to cancel
- 1Open My Jam
Your bookings and open play spots are listed under Upcoming.
- 2Press Cancel or Leave
The button is there until the cut-off. Confirm, and your spot is released.
- 3Get your money back
JamCredits show in your wallet straight away, and we email you a confirmation.
- 4Book again
Pay with your JamCredits at checkout, at any club on the platform.
If a payment goes wrong
You never lose money to a payment that did not finish.
Nothing is charged. The QR code is closed so it cannot be paid by mistake later, the slot is freed, and any JamCredits you used go back to your wallet.
After 30 minutes the hold ends and the slot goes back on sale. We email you to say nothing was charged.
If the slot is still free, your booking is simply put back. If someone else has taken it, your payment is kept safe and refunded in full — no need to do anything.
You are told straight away and refunded the same way as if you had cancelled yourself — unless the club uses "No cancellation, no refund".
For clubs and hosts
With "No cancellation, no refund" on, a booking you cancel yourself is not refunded automatically — except a payment that never finished: players always get back any JamCredits they used on it.
